Best Blogging Tools for Beginners.

1. WordPress

WordPress is a blogging platform that is beginner-friendly.  It allows you to create blog posts easily without being a tech survey. WordPress has a free and paid plan as well. Both are good; however, a self-hosted plan gives you power over your blog.

2. Grammarly

I use Grammarly to assist me in improving my writing by suggesting grammar and spelling corrections, as well as style improvements. Grammarly even helps me check if my content has any plagiarism with its plagiarism checker because, as a blogger, I source information from other websites, and I don’t want to find myself writing word for word 🙂 It a no-go zone

3. Canva

Canva is a graphic design tool that allows you to create visually appealing featured images, infographics, and social media graphics for your blog. The image above was also designed using Canva.

There are many templates to choose from to suit my niche and needs. The temples can also be resized to fit the social media you are posting to.

4. Yeost SEO

Yeost Seo is a tool to help your blog search engine visibility. So, if you hear blog SEO, then this is it. This tool optimizes your blog content to get more traffic from Google. They have a plug-in that you install in your WordPress, and as you write a post, it helps you make sure the title is at a good length; your meta description is also a good length, and even gives suggestions on items you should include before publishing your blog post.

5. Google Analytics.

A powerful tool for analyzing website traffic, providing insights into your blog’s performance and audience. This free Google tool will come in handy in your blogging.

6. Open AI  Chat GPT

Chat GPT AI will elevate your blogging if used well. Chat GPT is an artificial intelligence software that you can type in prompts or ask to generate topic ideas for your niche. You can even ask it to write a blog post. How easy! However, I recommend not copying the exact word-by-word form to your blog but instead using it as your inspiration for what you will write. You will be able to minimise plagiarism from copying.

7. Bluehost

I use Blue Host to host my website. Bluehost is a leading web hosting and domain provider. Do you have any business name ideas? You can utilise the Bluehost domain name search provider to check if your name is available to use.
