So, every time I google a business the next thing that catches my eyes is the logo they have chosen to represent them. Through this article your will get to know:
- What a logo is
- Types of logo
- What logo is a good match for your business
- Software to help you create your own logo
- Create a logo with me Step By Step.
- A video tutorial of me creating logo.
Let me walk you through this scenario: You are looking for a fast-food restaurant, maybe for a takeaway lunch or drive-through order. Your phone is off so you cannot use google maps. You decide to drive around and all you have is your eyes to look for a McDonald’s signage. You see the famous McDonald’s sign and you decide to do a drive-through order. You become relieved because thank goodness the logo was so evident on the signage you did not get lost looking for a McDonald’s. You make drive-through order and enjoy your lunch.

See, from this scenario, we learn that the McDonald’s Yellow Logo signage enabled us to identify exactly where the fast-food restaurant was even without google maps. Logos whether small or big identify a business. It is the way consumers identify and connect to a business. Also, note that the McDonald signage was Yellow making it easy to be recognised as you would be looking for Yellow signage with a big M.
So, What is a LOGO?
A logo is a brand mark that is used to represent a brand and distinguishing it from its other competitors. Logos can be in the form of:
- Text
- Icons
- Drawings
- Symbols
- or a combination of the four.
Logos play a big part in our lives. They help us quickly recognise things by just seeing them. Take for example the clothes you were, it’s so easy to recognise and differentiate someone wearing a Nike tracksuit.
Logos reflect a brand’s character. Logos are memorable and can help you create a winning business.
